I would like to use this blog to discuss educational resources offered around our area (or the area you live in). I currently teach in Mobile County and I have not lived in this area very long. I would like to share these locations with my students as well as take note of them for my own personal use. This could include locations for field trips or areas that offer educational resources for students outside of the classroom. For example, one area in our community I have visited that I think would make an excellent field trip is the Mobile Museum of Art. This could be used as a field trip to study art or history. This would be a great place to encourage students to attend and I could tie this into a classroom lesson. Can you think of any other areas that would serve these purposes in our area? Your comments would be greatly appreciated.
